#1. Tier 4 (Child) student visa
Age limit: between 4 Years and 17 YearsEligibility:
1. Unconditional place on a course with a licensed Tier-4 sponsor.
2. Funding sources are available.
When to apply: Before 3 months of course start or travelling to UK.
#2. Tier 4 (General) student visa
Age limit: more than 16 years.Eligibility: UK institution courses.
When to apply: Before 3 months of course start or travelling to UK.
#3. Short term visa
It’s for short term courses or training-based courses offered.Or for students who are pursuing short term courses in the UK country.
Application best time: 3 Months before you want to start study or trip to UK.
Documents required
1. Latest passport
Original passport with the validity of 90 days more than the expiry of the visa and not older than 10 years. If you have any old passport even that should be submitted for previous travel history.
2. CAS (Confirmation of Acceptance for Studies)
Confirmation of Acceptance for Studies (CAS) is the very important document needed for a Tier-4 visa provided by the Immigration Sponsor (university/institution) after you have fulfilled all their conditions.
3. Qualification
Students need to provide all the academic documents including all the mark sheets, transcripts, degree certificates and any other achievement documents.
4. English language proficiency proof
Students can provide any of the language test reports like IELTS, TOFEL, and PTE etc. as proof of English proficiency. Also, you can provide Medium of Instruction (MOI) as some of the universities accept it as proof of English.
5. Funding details /financial details
Funding is to be shown for the living expense for 1 year in the UK and the pending Tuition fees which are to be paid by the student. Bank statement of sponsor/ student with minimum 28days old funds is required along with the balance certificate.
6. TB test certificate
Students need to perform an X-ray and test report of the chest for Tuberculosis, if test reports are negative you will be provided with the TB Certificate.
7. Accommodation details
Students can provide the campus accommodation details if given by the university or else provide accommodation details if arranged personally.
8.Details for the student with an age of 18 or below
Contact details of the parent or legal guardian are to be provided if the student’s age is 18 or below.
9. Other documents when applying from a country
other than the home country.
It's needed when a student is applying from the country other than his/her home country. In this case, the student needs to provide proof for both homes as well as the country from which the visa application is done.
10. Criminal record certificate
(PCC- Police ClearanceXcertificate)
PCC is the certificate issued by a regional passport office who is applying for a long stay visa for abroad.
11. Academic technology approval scheme
(ATAS) clearance certificate

12. Photographs
Students need to submit the latest passport-sized photo with white background and preferably in Blazer or suits.

Generally, the fee for the Tier 4 General Visa is 348 Pounds around 32,500 INR. There are some priority visa services available for getting the decisions faster which costs around 590-1340 Pounds.

● Students can pay online through Credit card (Master/Visa).
● Through Demand Draft at the visa application centre and some selected branches of Standard Chartered Bank.
● Through Cash at the visa application centre and some selected branches of Standard Chartered Bank.
