When thinking of studying abroad, there are very specific changes when the thought of any particular university comes in my mind first, rather it’s always about where will I go? Which is the best place for me? In which environment and culture do I want to go and build my career? I am sure this is the same with everybody, who thinks of going abroad for studies. Since there are multiple countries in option and which one to choose is a bit difficult task so let’s narrow it down and go step by step with the things we usually should take into consideration while deciding on why and which country to choose.
First, we go through a budget which is the most important thing as not everybody can afford a lump sum amount but they still have a dream to study in abroad country. Secondly the study pattern and importance of study in that country. And third, would be the weather of that country, if it will be suitable or not and will you be able to mix in with the culture or not. So I would tell you never to get afraid of going into a new country which doesn’t speak your known language, my friend, because that is the most amazing thing to learn. A new language and what is better than staying and learning from the locals?
Moving further, when one searched about the top country to pursue their education, UK, USA, Canada, France are amongst the top choices. And UK, USA, Canada is quite common nowadays since everyone wants to go over there but let me tell you friends rather than following the trend why not to set up one of your own. Rather than running after the strict entry criteria’s why not pursue your education from a student-friendly country where the reputation of the institutes is similar to the other three countries and the tuition fees are quite affordable. Today I will tell you some amazing facts about studying France and why France is my favourite destination for further education. Of course, the Eiffel tower is there and it will be the number one thing that comes to one's mind when you think of France and secondly, it is the fashion hub but there is a lot more in there.
Who hasn’t dreamt of visiting France and looking for the culture and buying an amazing fragrance and many more? But when it comes to studying and living in France there is always some hesitation that is why France is amongst any other country around the globe. Why would you choose the tourist place as your study destination?
Let me tell you France is so much more than just a tourist place and looking and there are a lot of things to do other than looking at Eiffel tower for straight few hours. France also stands for a study destination as it provides the quality of life and Education. People have myths about France so let’s talk about that first.
1. Paris is not the only place in France.
I agree when we say France, Paris is the first thing which comes to our mind. But there are other places as well like Toulouse, Lyon, rims, ruins, Bordeaux.

2. Programme variations
France has a wide range of programmes to offer. It’s definitely a myth that France has no variations in programme. In fact, France is one of the top study abroad countries and it offers a ton of academic routes. Other than the fashion courses France ranks amongst the top 10 countries to pursue your business and management studies. There are over 3500 institutions in France which provide a long portfolio of engineering as well as management programmes along with a number of programmes related to your interest. You name it, tourism, fashion, automation, business, art and lots more. And let’s not forget the language. It’s a language of love. And you can learn it as I mentioned before.
France is at present the fourth most well-liked study destination in the globe, and it's no doubt with its tremendous culture, highly rated university system and relatively low tuition fees. Every year, close to 300,000 students travel to France for the solitary purpose of studying.
Applying to a university in France is almost the same as applying for a college in any other country, there are a few differences which are important for you to recognize. It is significant that, whether you are a European local or an international student, you complete the application process, and submit all of the required and requested documents at the time of submission. When you complete this it will show you are ready to attend college and it speeds up the process.
1. First of all the application should be completed in whichever university you want to apply since you will not be in the country it becomes difficult to complete it on your own.
- Major part is the documents. Transcripts must be provided from all institutions that you have attended in the past. This includes both high school transcripts as well as those from any colleges that you may have attended in the past.
- Majority of the French colleges require the motivation letter to be submitted at the time of application. If this is a part of the application process, make sure that you write the composition to the best of your ability as it is a critical part of your acceptance or rejection into the college.
- You will also be required to submit proof of English proficiency. 80% of a France university doesn’t require an IELTS test if you have completed your last education in English medium. But in some, you will require a language proficiency certificate.
If I go on and on about how it works, I think I will be writing for the rest of this year. So I would highly recommend always going to your consultant in order to avoid the chances of mistakes and your application process can be done smoothly. Edugo Abroad provides the best consultancy for European studies and has a wide range of numbers of students who have got their visa with the help of the team of Edugo Abroad.
2. Once you submit all your documents the admission team of the university or school will assess your profile according to the predetermined criteria and once you meet those criteria, you will be approached for the admission interview.
- A school or university will conduct your interview to check your capability, know about you and your motivations.
- The interview can be conducted via 2 steps
- Skype interview
- Skype as well as Telephonic interview
- Pre-recorded video interview through a platform like Easyrecrue, Visiotalent etc.

3. After you complete your interview the school or university will send the interview result to you via email in the period of the decision by the university. It depends totally on the university some might take 3 to 4 days some might a week and some might 15 to 20 days.
- Once the result comes positive you will be given an offer letter also known as acceptance letter (not the final admission letter) and the next step will be the tuition fees payment.
- Now some the university does accept the deposit of total tuition fees payment and remaining fees before flying from the home country but it is always advisable to make the payment of full tuition fees in order to strengthen the visa chances.
4. Once the payment of the fee is done, then you will get your final admission letter along with the other visa documents.
So, till now the process is pretty clear but what after getting a final admission letter?
The very next step is to create a campus France account. Now you must be thinking, what is it?
And how to make the account and the most important question is why?
To know about Campus France and how to make an account you can check the below-mentioned video done by Ms Kruti Mistry our Admission Process Manager, she has beautifully explained the Campus France process and must check the video.
